About the Owner

Alexander Kelsey, owner and CEO, joined the military upon graduating from high school. He served as an Army MP. After deployment, he eventually transitioned to the Reserves. Upon his release, he became a correctional officer at the state prison and began spending his free time mowing and snow plowing for extra cash. Eventually, he earned his CDL and began driving a truck for a liquor distributor. He lost his job during the COVID crisis which is when he started K&K Outdoor Services.

Service to the Community

K&K Outdoor Services is a proud sponsor of the Michigan City Girl Scouts. We provide a truck and driver for the several parades held throughout the year including Festival of Lights and St. Patrick’s Day parades. Our crew also assists with float preparation and maintenance. Being an Eagle Scout himself, Alex believes in the character building aspects of scouting. The office manager is a lifetime member of Girl Scouts and is still active in troop activities.
